TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG/Gray News) — The fifth and final family member exposed to carbon monoxide in a vehicle in Ohio will be removed from life support Friday, the family said. Four other family members have already died in the tragedy.

UMATILLA COUNTY, Ore. (KPTV/Gray News) - A 38-year-old driver has been arrested after three people, including a baby, were seriously hurt in a rollover crash in Oregon on Thursday morning. According to Oregon State Police, the crash occurred just before 8:30 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 84 near milepost 207. LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - Eight Lufkin firefighters have been deployed to San Antonio to support response operations amid flooding in the Texas Hill Country, according to the Lufkin Fire Department. The department said Wednesday it sent four firefighters to San Antonio at the request of the Texas Department of Emergency Management (TDEM), including Assistant Fire Chief Ryan Watson.

TYLER, Texas (KLTV) — A federal grand jury has indicted two people from Van Zandt County accused of securing loans by acting as owners of others’ properties. Larry Duane Haley and Veronica A. Haley are each charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud, two counts of wire fraud and two counts of bank fraud. According to the indictment, both defendants identified property owners and sought loans using the property as collateral.

ABILENE, Kan. (WIBW/Gray News) - A father in Kansas was charged with murder after his 2-year-old son died in a house fire, according to authorities. The arrested man was identified as 33-year-old James Bradley Crump. Officials said the fire was reported around 5:48 p.m. on Jan. 26. When deputies arrived, they found Crump and another child outside the home.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV/Gray News) - A married couple in Florida was killed nearly a week ago when a tree fell on their car during a storm. The Tallahassee Police Department identified the victims as Patti Haller, 63, and Steve Haller, 65. Police said a large tree fell directly on the front seat area of their vehicle.

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA/Gray News) — Three people were arrested after investigators said a man’s body was hidden in a South Dakota hotel room for several months. Rapid City police responded Tuesday afternoon to the Roadway Inn after receiving a report of a dead body in a room. Officers found the body of an adult man, and investigators soon determined the death was suspicious. An autopsy identified the man as Jason Horned Eagle, 33, of Rapid City.

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT/Gray News) - Mississippi authorities are investigating a shooting where a mother was shot in the leg while protecting her young son. According to the Jackson Police Department, the woman was driving home Friday at about 4:30 a.m. when a person believed to be in a burgundy Honda began shooting at her. Authorities said she was traveling with her 2-year-old son at the time of the shooting and attempted to get away from the Honda.
