Have you ever used a typewriter?

I briefly owned one as a child. This was well after computers had come out, but I was just like that.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

Anything but email, folks.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

Slack, AirTable, Coda, Discourse, and a well-padded chair.

What's your favorite social network?

I have a love-hate relationship with TikTok. It's very addictive and bad for you, but it's also loaded with incredibly creative content.

When's the best time to pitch you?

What's the best pitch you ever got?

Easily, without question, the banana phone. It's exactly what you think it is.

What's the worst pitch you ever got?

I once received a Black Friday deal pitch for coffins. Yes, those kinds of coffins.

It's a three-way tie between Diet Coke, Diet Cherry Limeade, and Arnold Palmer
