LUBBOCK, Texas — Trinity Christian shortstop Noah Hasse is the KLBK Athlete of the Week! Hasse led the Lions with five hits in the club’s area round sweep of Hyde Park (Austin) on Monday. “I was just sitting fastball, trying to attack it,” Hasse said. “When I saw a mistake, I banged it.” The junior came through with a bases-loaded hit in each game and racked up three doubles in the area round series. “He’s the catalyst for us, the jump-starter,” said Trinity Christian head coach Devin Rocha.

LUBBOCK, Texas — On Thursday, three Trinity Christian School student-athletes signed college commitments to continue their athletic careers at the next level. Twin brothers Bryson and Braydon Jowers each inked letters in the ceremony. The junior slugged her first long ball of the game in the second inning, a three-run blast to extend the Lubbock-Cooper lead to 7-3. Her second home run came just one inning later, a two-run shot in the bottom of the third to put the game out of reach at 11-3.
