Energy-efficient coordinated scheduling of stacker cranes and automated guided vehicles in a smart-meter automated storage and retrieval system
Abstract Automated storage and retrieval systems require coordinated scheduling of stacker cranes and automated guided vehicles because their operations are coupled through task precedence, shared buffers, resource conflicts, and energy-related travel costs. This study examines a smart-meter warehouse operated by the Yunnan Power Grid Metrology Center and develops a mixed-integer linear programming model for integrated storage, retrieval, and transport scheduling.
Dynamic delocalization of stress in brittle battery positive electrode active materials by shape-memory polymer nanocoating
Abstract Stress-induced fractures are recognized as a primary cause of degradation in a wide range of positive electrode active materials during battery operation. However, the state-of-the-art mechanistic understanding and strategy development often overlook the brittle nature of these materials, as well as the dynamic and localized characteristics of mechanical stress during the charge and discharge cycles of the cell.
Epigenetic landscapes of classical psychedelics and ketamine: molecular mechanisms of long-lasting neuromodulation
Abstract Classic psychedelics such as lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), psilocybin, N,N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT), and mescaline induce lasting changes in neuroplasticity and behavior that extend far beyond their acute pharmacological effects. Emerging evidence highlights that these enduring therapeutic benefits in neuropsychiatric conditions may be significantly mediated through complex epigenetic reprogramming mechanisms, although direct causal evidence remains limited.
Origin of crack propagation in lithium cobalt oxide positive electrode for lithium-ion batteries
Abstract Although the anionic activity in layered oxide positive electrodes is partially understood, the mechanism by which it induces internal crack propagation under high-voltage conditions remains unclear, severely limiting stable cycle life and available capacity. In this study, the mechanism underlying internal crack propagation is elucidated in LiCoO2 under harsh float-charge conditions at 60 °C and a potential of 4.6 V vs.

Tissue-resident microbiota impacts colorectal cancer progression and prognosis - Nature Communications
Abstract To deepen the understanding of tissue-resident microbiota in colorectal cancer (CRC), we analyzed whole-genome and transcriptome data from 937 patients. We identified 249 genera and 361 species commonly present in both tumors and adjacent normal tissues (NATs). Distinct microbial signatures were associated with anatomical location, tumor stages, hypermutation status, mutations in CRC driver and DNA damage repair genes, as well as consensus molecular subtypes (CMSs).
A computational analysis of the platformization of music: comparing hit songs on TikTok and Spotify
ABSTRACT The (re)creation and distribution of cultural products such as music are increasingly shaped by digital platforms. This study explores how TikTok and Spotify, situated in different governance and user contexts, could influence digital music production and reception within each platform and between each other. Focusing on daily hit song charts as the embodiment of platformization, we collected and analyzed a two-year longitudinal dataset on TikTok and Spotify.

Prognostic genome and transcriptome signatures in colorectal cancers - Nature
Abstract Colorectal cancer is caused by a sequence of somatic genomic alterations affecting driver genes in core cancer pathways1. Here, to understand the functional and prognostic impact of cancer-causing somatic mutations, we analysed the whole genomes and transcriptomes of 1,063 primary colorectal cancers in a population-based cohort with long-term follow-up. From the 96 mutated driver genes, 9 were not previously implicated in colorectal cancer and 24 had not been linked to any cancer.

Revealing the aging process of solid electrolyte interphase on SiOx anode - Nature Communications
Abstract As one of the most promising alternatives to graphite negative electrodes, silicon oxide (SiOx) has been hindered by its fast capacity fading. Solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) aging on silicon SiOx has been recognized as the most critical yet least understood facet.
Terahertz Bessel metalens with an extended non-diffractive length and a high efficiency
In this paper, we propose a reflective terahertz (THz) Bessel metalens that utilizes polarization-insensitive sub-wavelength metal resonator–dielectric–metal structures. The Bessel metalens is configured with the superposition of hyperboloidal and conical phase profiles, resulting in a high-efficiency and long non-diffractive length Bessel beam. Our experimental results demonstrate that the proposed Bessel metalens has a focusing efficiency of 72.1% and a non-diffractive length of 239λ.
Cannabidiol Analogue CIAC001 for the Treatment of Morphine-Induced Addiction by Targeting PKM2
Opioid addiction is a chronically relapsing disorder that causes critical public health problems. Currently, there is a lack of effective drug treatment. Herein, one cannabidiol derivative, CIAC001, was discovered as an effective agent for treating morphine-induced addiction. In vitro, CIAC001 exhibited significantly improved anti-neuroinflammatory activity with lower toxicity.

Tuning the Topology of Three-Dimensional Covalent Organic Frameworks via Steric Control: From pts to Unprecedented ljh
Whether or not the topology of three-dimensional covalent organic frameworks (3D COFs) can be tuned via steric control remains a big question and has never been reported. Herein, we describe the designed synthesis of two highly crystalline 3D COFs (3D-TPB-COF-OMe and 3D-TPB-COF-Ph), through the polycondensation of tetra(p-aminophenyl)methane and methoxy- or phenyl- substituted 1,2,4,5-tetrakis(4-formylphenyl)benzene on the 3- and 6-positions.

Structural origin of the high-voltage instability of lithium cobalt oxide
Abstract Layered lithium cobalt oxide (LiCoO2, LCO) is the most successful commercial cathode material in lithium-ion batteries. However, its notable structural instability at potentials higher than 4.35 V (versus Li/Li+) constitutes the major barrier to accessing its theoretical capacity of 274 mAh g−1. Although a few high-voltage LCO (H-LCO) materials have been discovered and commercialized, the structural origin of their stability has remained difficult to identify.
