For much of her high school wrestling career, East Surry’s Sayler Chappell simply wanted a chance. A chance to improve, a chance to compete and a chance to prove she belonged on the mat. Now, after making school history and becoming one of the top women’s wrestlers in the 3A division, Chappell has earned the opportunity to continue wrestling at the collegiate level. Less than three years after competing in her first match, Chappell signed to wrestle at Emory & Henry University.
