Lebanon County emergency crews are responding to a third-alarm fire on the 700 block of Cumberland Street in Lebanon City, according to the South Lebanon Fire Department. The Lebanon Professional Firefighters, IAFF Local 1952, stated that this is a "major fire" and to use caution in the area. Cumberland Street/Route 422 westbound is closed while firefighters work to put out the fire.

George Bivens of the Pennsylvania State Police addressed new notification policies and the creation of a political violence threat unit in response to a recent threat against 20 state lawmakers. Adam Berryhill of Lebanon County was charged with one count of terroristic threats after allegedly posting a "hit list" targeting state lawmakers, leading to a breakdown in the notification process that should have occurred to the affected legislators.

Hazmat crews cleaning up large fertilizer spill in Lancaster County, road closed Original

MARIETTA, Pa. — Emergency crews are working to clean up a fertilizer spill in Lancaster County, and police have advised drivers that the road is closed indefinitely until the spill is cleaned up. According to Lancaster County dispatch, the Maytown-East Donegal Township Fire Department responded to a hazmat incident on Route 441 at River Road and Maytown Road in East Donegal Township just before 7:30 a.m. The road is closed between Engle Tollgate Road and Old Colebrook Road, according to police.
