(WSPA) -- A heat advisory is in effect from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday for everyone outside of the mountains. Heat indices in the 105-107 range are possible this afternoon. Weather Impact days for the heat remain through the weekend. Heat is the story through the holiday weekend. Highs in the mid to upper 90s, with low to mid 90s in the mountains, are expected. We will also flirt with some record highs over the next couple of days.
