CROMWELL, Conn. (WFSB) - Viktor Hovland is the 2026 Travelers Championship winner after defeating world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler in a sudden death playoff Monday morning at TPC River Highlands. Sunday’s final round was suspended due to rain, pushing the playoff to Monday. Hovland and Scheffler entered the extra hole tied at 21-under par. Both players reached the 18th green with birdie opportunities. Hovland putted first and converted.
