Weather Blog: Flash flooding possible from heavy rain potential Thursday

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A large weather system will bring widespread rain across the entire weather coverage area with some areas picking up heavy rain totals Thursday. The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for the counties shaded in green, starting early Thursday morning lasting until Thursday afternoon. Expected rain totals will range from 2 to 4 inches, with locally higher amounts possibly reaching over 5 inches.
