Conformal graphene coatings on ordinary fabrics for wearable electronic devices
Abstract Dip-coating ordinary fabrics with conductive macromolecules holds promise for mass-production of next-generation wearable electronics but faces an interaction dilemma in high-entangled fabrics: weak interactions for uniform penetration versus strong for stable coating. Herein, we present a temporal decoupling strategy, designing stage-specific interaction strengths to achieve uniform graphene oxide penetration and robust reduced graphene oxide adhesion.
Weldable graphene foams for wide-range thermal switches
Keywords thermal switch graphene foam welding thermal resistance dynamic thermal management Introduction The application of electrical equipment in complex environments requires the development of dynamic thermal management technologies, aiming to enhance performance, extend lifespan, and ensure high safety.1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 Especially when confronted with the vastly different thermal management requirements in high- and low-temperature environments, the single functionality of traditional heat...

From waste to fuel: Metal-free carbon nanodots for selective CO2 photoreduction into methanol
Carbon nanodots (CNDs) are zero-dimensional nanoparticles mainly composed of carbon and with a size ranging from some nanometers to several dozens of nanometers [1]. These CNDs can be obtained from different sources including waste [2], [3], synthetic precursors [4] and biomass [5]. Synthetic chemical and physical methodologies for CNDs are typically categorized into two main methods: top-down and bottom-up.
