Why did you become a journalist?
To be able to write about the topics I love. Most importantly though, to get paid while exploring the world
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I worked on the gaming and film section at the University College Cork weekly newspaper where I wrote all too much about music in gaming.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Writing about Aimee Noble, the daughter of Kim Noble who has been diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder, and her upbringing.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
To write about the end of days on a daily basis via an ever-changing 3,000 word newsletter. At least I can credit their persistence
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Sitting on the most comfortable couch forever scrolling through Netflix before nodding off to sleep, or heading to yet another brunch

Edge Magazine. From it's overall design to every article exploring a niche aspect of gaming, it's top stuff.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That gaming journalists don't know how to play games. That's only true some of the time...
