By Darryl Cross, recently elected Apache Junction council member What would I like to say to the voters and residents of Apache Junction? From the bottom of my heart, Thank you! I am truly honored that you have placed your trust and confidence in me to be a voice for you on the city council. For the voters that didn’t vote for me or didn’t vote at all, I am here to represent you as well. We are a diverse community with many differing opinions. I respect each and everyone’s thoughts and ideas.

Fun fact: The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) is four years older than me. It was signed into law on July 26, 1990 (for the naysayers who say you didn’t have enough time to get your buildings and workplaces to be compliant, you have had enough time for me to exist and be a few years out of law school. You probably work with lawyers who were born in 1990. That’s plenty of time).
