Slovenia’s Radio Capris has upgraded its main studio with an AEQ Capitol IP12 digital mixing console as part of a wider modernization project at its new facilities in downtown Koper. Founded in 1993, Radio Capris serves western Slovenia, including Primorska, Ljubljana, Kranj and Postojna, with a mix of local news, entertainment and music programming. The commercial broadcaster relocated from the city’s outskirts and used the move to refresh its studio infrastructure.

The Audio Academy, formerly the Radio Academy, has opened applications for its 2026 “30 Under 30” program, which recognizes emerging talent across the United Kingdom’s audio industry. Now in its 16th year, the annual initiative highlights 30 people under 30 working across radio, podcasting and wider audio. The program recognizes professionals from editorial, production, engineering, presenting, journalism, digital, commercial and technical roles, as well as freelancers and independent creators.

Broadcaster Zoe Ball will join Greatest Hits Radio in September to host a new weekday afternoon show, marking her return to daily radio following her departure from the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show. Ball will present “Zoe Ball in the Afternoon” from 1-4 p.m. weekdays beginning Monday, Sept. 7. The show slots into the station’s daytime lineup between Ken Bruce’s mid-morning program and Simon Mayo at drivetime. The line-up will then feature three former BBC Radio 2 presenters in succession.
