Functional bipartite invariance in mouse primary visual cortex receptive fields
|
Abstract Sensory systems support generalization by representing features that persist under input variation; however, identifying the neuronal basis of these invariances remains difficult due to high-dimensional and nonlinear neural computations. Here we leverage the inception loop paradigm, iterating between large-scale recordings, predictive models and in silico experiments with in vivo verification, to characterize neuronal invariances in mouse primary visual cortex (V1).

Secure MCP Server with NGINX + Supergateway + Render
Joint article by Dat Tran (Partner & CTO at DATANOMIQ) and Dr. Alexander Lammers (Chief Data Scientist at DATANOMIQ) Photo by tungnguyen0905 on Pixabay Model Context Protocol (MCP) is the new open standard for connecting AI assistants. Typically you run it as: stdio (Standard Input/Output): Used when Client and Server run on the same machines. This is simple and effective for local integrations (e.g., accessing local files or running a local script).
Accuracy Comparison Between Feedforward Neural Network, Support Vector Machine and Boosting Ensembles for Financial Risk Evaluation
3.1. Methodology—Computational Approach This research adopts a quantitative approach with an experimental design. While numerous deep learning frameworks exist—such as Microsoft Cognitive Toolkit (CNTK), Theano (developed by the University of Montreal), and Google’s TensorFlow and Keras—each differs in terms of implementation, execution, and performance.
Hybrid Control Strategy for DC Microgrid Against False Data Injection Attacks and Sensor Faults Based on Lagrange Extrapolation and Voltage Observer
1. Introduction The increasing severity of environmental issues, such as global warming, air pollution, and resource depletion, has prompted an urgent need for reliable and efficient approaches to meet the increasing global energy demand [1]. Fossil fuels, which currently dominate global energy consumption, are not only finite resources but also significant contributors to greenhouse gas emissions [2]. To overcome these challenges, renewable energy sources (RESs) have become increasingly important.
Distributed Secondary Control of DC Microgrid with Power Management Based on Time-of-Use Pricing and Internal Price Rate
1. Introduction The growing global demand for energy, coupled with the urgent need to decrease greenhouse gas emissions, has led to a significant energy transition towards renewable energy sources (RESs) such as wind and solar power. The RESs and distributed generation (DG) technologies have become essential in creating a more resilient and sustainable energy infrastructure [].

dat tran architect introduces three-story residence in Vietnam Dat Tran Architect reveals LA House, a three-story residence in Long An Province, Southern Vietnam. The house is positioned on a 4 x 18-meter plot between lush parks and clear lakes, creating a peaceful living environment that harmonizes with nature. With the advantage of two facades, the building maximizes natural light and airflow, ensuring the interior remains bright and airy.

Eccentric contraction response of stimulated skeletal muscle fascicle at the various strain rates and stimulation timing.
New Results doi: https://doi.org/10.1101/2023.04.26.538494 Abstract Muscle injuries are the most common sports injuries, and it is often observed in eccentric contraction. There are many factors that could influence the severity of muscle injuries, including strain and strain rate. This study evaluated the interaction of these two factors on the biomechanical properties of the muscle-tendon bundle and their role in injuries.

BNPL providers should consider FTC's 'compliance checks'
The following is a guest post by Lauren Sartwell and Dat Tran, Klaros Group. Many consumers think of Buy-Now-Pay-Later (BNPL) as a new product, but the concept has been around for over 150 years, starting as “installment plans” and “layaway” programs. BNPL shot to prominence during the Coronavirus pandemic, capturing the attention of consumers, media, and regulators, and is expected to increase significantly with holiday shopping.
How to build an external function on Priceloop NoCode
Building an external function to get currency rates in 11 lines of code and using it on Priceloop NoCode In this article, I want to show you how you can write an external function and use it on our NoCode platform. The entire process took me less than 5 minutes by taking advantage of the Python ecosystem. In particular, we're building a function similar to GOOGLEFINANCE to just get current exchange rate by using the forex-python library. Our function is called priceloopcurrency .
Building and Integration of a simple ML Price Optimization model into Priceloop NoCode
In many conversations with our clients and also working with them, we experienced that there is a huge shortage of IT people and therefore hindering many business opportunities. In particular, in pricing department this is the case, you have pricing managers who build their pricing logic/strategies in Excel sheets.

How you can ditch PowerPoint and build better slides with Jupyter and Reveal.js
by Dat Tran In this article, I will introduce jupyter2slides — a little side project of mine that lets you easily create beautiful and interactive presentation slides using Jupyter Notebook and reveal.js. Here’s what it looks like: And this is the corresponding PDF, generated with DeckTape: My motivation for building this Microsoft PowerPoint is cool. It’s like a Swiss Army knife for consultants, and you can make beautiful slides with it. When it comes to code, though, PowerPoint sucks.
