On Saturday afternoon, Clinton made a stop at the Democratic Field Office on Stantonsburg Road in Greenville. With less than three weeks to go before the election, the former President is on a whirlwind bus tour throughout several cities in North Carolina.

(WNCT) – Many people across eastern North Carolina saw a rare, colorful display in the night skies Thursday. An aurora, also known as the northern lights, was visible due to a strong geomagnetic storm occurring over the northern hemisphere. Several viewers sent in photos to WNCT showing the awesome display of color. The Space Weather Prediction Center issued a “severe geomagnetic storm” alert for the rare phenomenon.

Durham man facing murder charges after Saturday night shooting in Bethel, deputies say

(WNCT) – Deputies arrested a Durham man late Saturday night following a shooting that left one person dead in Pitt County. Around 11 p.m. Saturday night, deputies responded to a home in the 2800 block of Latham Road in Bethel after a report of a shooting. In a news release, the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office said a victim, Elijah Rashawn Everette, 25, died at the scene.
