MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - very championship is coveted, but being the first in program history makes it even more special. Auburn wheelchair basketball reached the top of the mountain in Tucson, Arizona, capturing the program’s first-ever national championship. “It means everything. It’s been 10 years in the making,” said Robb Taylor, head wheelchair basketball coach. Auburn started its wheelchair basketball program in 2013.

SELMA, Ala. (WSFA) - Kole Moody led the entire country in passing yards this past season, totaling 5,350 yards. He was the only high school football player in America to break the 5,000 mark. However, he’s not even old enough to walk the halls at Southside High School, because Moody is just 13 years old. “It wasn’t really like a moment where I was like “I could do this,” said Moody. “It just progressed over time and I got better with it. Moody’s abilities blossomed before most 8th graders do.
