Revenue officers have seized over €109,000 in cash and more than €26,000 worth of illicit tobacco during a search operation at a residential property in Waterford. The operation, which took place on Friday, was carried out with the support of Revenue teams from Kilkenny and Rosslare, and was conducted in conjunction with An Garda Síochána. During the search, officers uncovered 29.65 kilograms of Amber Leaf tobacco.

News Rescue117 helicopter A man has been airlifted to hospital after he fell overboard from a ferry travelling across the Shannon Estuary. The incident occurred this morning on the ferry route between Tarbert, Co. Kerry, and Killimer, Co. Clare. Emergency services were alerted shortly after 9 a.m. when a report was received that someone had gone overboard. The ferry crew began an immediate search and contacted the Irish Coast Guard.

More than 100 fake Labubu dolls have been seized by Trading Standards officers in the UK. Counterfeits of the popular gremlin-like toys were found in shops in Elgin town centre, Scotland, due to safety concerns. Although they've been around for a decade, the Chinese-made toys have become so popular around the world lately, mostly due to social media and celebrities and influencers giving them the thumb of approval, which has led to fakes flooding the market.
