Do you like Pickles? If you do, today is your day because it's 'National Pickle Day.' According to the National Day Calendar, 'National Pickle Day' recognizes the tart, sometimes sweet and even spicy pickle. Eash year on November 14, pickle lovers pop open pecks of their preferred preserved pickle. In the United States, the word pickle typically refers to a pickled cucumber. Former Pocatello resident, Krissy Wyatt-Wolfe attended a pickle event in Texas with thousands of other pickle lovers.

The month of February is Heart Health month. Abby Wilson recently attended the 'Feel the Beat' event to promote heart health with Portneuf Cardiology. She says February is an important month because it brings awareness to heart health. Abby says cardiovascular disease is a leading cause of death in the United States and there are some things you can do to be pro-active in taking care of your heart.

A local woman is dead after a rollover crash this week. It happened on Ross Fork Road just after 6:30 Tuesday night. The Bingham County Coroner says 19-year-old Sandra Damon Died at the scene of the crash. A passenger in the vehicle Damon was driving at the time of the crash was taken to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello to be treated for minor injuries. Officials say a second passenger left before the responders arrived.
