BROOKLYN, NY - It was a big draft night for the newest Atlanta Hawk, Kingston Flemings, the former Brennan High School star making San Antonio history. With the No. 8 pick, Flemings becomes only the second San Antonio high school product ever to be selected in the NBA top 10, and the second overall behind Shaquille O’Neal, who went No. 1 in 1992. The 6-foot-3 Flemings, 19, is a lead guard with a quick first step who shot 47.6% from the field as a freshman for the University of Houston.

But tonight will be even bigger for one of San Antonio's own. Former Brennan High School star Kingston Flemings is expected to become just the second San Antonio player ever selected in the top 10 of the NBA Draft. Kingston and his family are already in New York taking part in the pre-draft festivities.
