NEW BREMEN, Ohio — The 2025 high school football season brings renewed optimism to New Bremen, thanks in large part to a senior class that’s nearly doubled in size. After finishing 5-6 last fall, the Cardinals return 17 seniors—up from just 10 in 2024—and hope that experience fuels a bounce-back campaign. Many of these seniors were just underclassmen when New Bremen captured the 2022 state championship in Canton. Since that title, however, the Cards have gone just 10-13.

MINSTER, Ohio — After an 11–3 campaign in 2024, the Minster Wildcats are preparing for major changes in 2025. Despite another strong year, two of Minster’s three losses came at the hands of eventual state champion Marion Local — the second straight season that storyline played out. But there’s still plenty to celebrate from last fall: the Wildcats never allowed more than 24 points in a game and scored 35 or more 10 different times.
