Tramore motorcyclist (50s) dies following serious collision

Gardaí continue to appeal for witnesses following a road traffic collision involving a car and a motorcycle that occurred in Monvoy, Tramore. The incident occurred at approximately 7:40pm on Wednesday, 9th July, 2025. The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, conveyed to University Hospital Waterford, has since passed away following this collision. No other injuries were reported. A man in his 60s, arrested at the scene has been charged in connection with this investigation.

Man (50s) in critical condition following Tramore collision

A man is in critical condition in University Hospital Waterford following a two-vehicle collision which occurred earlier today, July 9th. At approximately 7.15pm, a crash occurred between a car and a motorcycle near the Cullencastle area of Tramore. Emergency services attended the scene and a male in his 50s was transferred to University Hospital Waterford. His injuries are believed to be significant. The road was closed for technical examination but is expected to reopen shortly.

When's the best time to pitch you?

I'm quite good at responses, but earlier in the morning is best, the middle of the day is not a great time as I'm out on stories usually.
