James Schellhase, who served as UnitedLex's CEO from September 2023 until his termination in October 2024, filed the lawsuit Monday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.

The lawsuit takes issue with the reverse acqui-hire through which Nvidia hired Groq employees and licensed its technology, a process which avoids officially merging two companies in a transaction that requires a shareholder vote.
