1 Savannah firefighter suffers minor injuries while battling structure fire Original

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Savannah Firefighters were dispatched to the area of Bolton Street and Montgomery Street Wednesday evening for a structure fire. Savannah’s Engine 3 was the first to arrive. While attempting to gain entry on the second level, one firefighter fell after the porch gave way and collapsed with the individual standing on it. Additional units arrived and rapidly removed the fallen firefighter from the compromised area.
