LOGAN — Utah State University's iconic American flag display has returned to the Quad, with grounds crews transforming the campus landmark into a 500-foot-by-300-foot stars and stripes tribute as part of the university's celebration of the nation's 250th anniversary.

BRIGHAM CITY — With all 52 precincts reporting, challengers led three incumbent officeholders, including two county commissioners and the county sheriff in Box Elder County. However, county election officials caution that approximately 1,000 ballots remain to be counted, including about 130 ballots requiring voter cure and 23 provisional ballots that must still be reviewed.
