Eric Freedman’s Biography
Pulitzer Prize-winner Eric Freedman is a professor of journalism and director of the Knight Center for Environmental Journalism at Michigan State University. He is a former daily newspaper reporter in New York and Michigan, a former Fulbright Scholar teaching journalism in Uzbekistan, Lithuania and the Republic of Georgia, the author or editor of more than a dozen books and an active freelancer whose work has appeared in more than 150 newspapers, magazines, news websites and other publications around the world. As a freelancer, he specializes in coverage of the environment, law and public affairs. He is a frequent contributor to Automotive News and Automotive News Canada.
