Missoula, Mont. — A riverfront property near Orange and Front streets moved closer to redevelopment as the city also asked for public input on the downtown SAM project. The site had been owned by the city for close to 40 years, according to Ellen Buchanan, director of the Missoula Redevelopment Agency. Plans called for a hotel with roughly 180 to 200 rooms, meeting space, structured parking, riverfront trail upgrades and a public plaza connecting Front Street to the Clark Fork River.
