SETTING changeStatus="fail" name="Feature Byte" reason="Failed" returnCode="4"
HP Pavilion 15t-cs000 CTO original bios lost. Help recover
After a power failure during a BIOS update, the laptop was repaired by technician. Now, I was getting an error on boot saying "Manufacture Programming Mode is in Unlock". Furthermore, the original Graphical User Interface (GUI) with mouse support is gone, replaced by a legacy-style text interface which is missing tons of options. The TPM is not recognized by Windows, and Intel Optane has disappeared from the BIOS and OS.
BIOS reflash removed system UUID, SKU, and feature bytes — need help restoring factory DMI data
Hello, I recently had a serious BIOS corruption issue on my Victus 16-d1007ca. A local service center recovered the system, but they used a generic BIOS image instead of the official HP-configured BIOS for this model. After the repair, the laptop boots and works, but several important system-specific values in the DMI/SMBIOS region appear to be missing or incorrect.

Feature Byte fails return code 4 in BCU after Motherboard replacement
A motherboard has been replaced on a HP Z2 G4 Tower. all required parameters but one, were accepted via HPBIOSConfigUtility64.exe The Feature Byte shows as "blank" when obtaining the Bios.txt, The content of that setting are listed on the case as well as from HP parts surfer and were entered exactly as seen ( capital letters where they should be) I've tried bot both a single string and separated 4 letter groupings but that process fails with return code 4.

Product, Model, Serial number, System Family, Feature Byte and Build ID missing
I sent my computer to a local workshop for an upgrade of memory and M2 SSD installation, and now the HP Support assistant do not recognize the product name and serial number. I Tryed to look by using the BCU utility (BIOS configuration utility), and it shows those field ( Product, Model, Serial number, System Family, Feature Byte and Build ID ) missed. Is there a way my computer can get back those important data on it, for future references and eventual support? Thank you.
