SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Two San Francisco roommates were lying down inside their apartment when they suddenly heard someone inside their home, well inside their walls to be exact, according to an ABC7 report. The roommates say a pregnant raccoon scurried its way into their apartment unit's wall, where she lived for two months before giving birth to a litter of masked bandits, according to the report.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — A San Leandro man has been arrested and charged on suspicion of helping a friend flee the scene of a deadly May crash, according to a report by The Mercury Times. Shaohui Wu, 35, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and being an accessory, according to the report. The charge stems from the May 11 crash in the 14400 block of Corvallis Street that killed beloved San Leandro elementary school chef Andrea Sanchez.
