What was your first job as a journalist?
I started my own tech blog right out of college. No one read it- but I wanted a place to remember my ideas and findings.

Actual insight bounces around in an echo chamber; giving more reach, but often changing the context of truth.

What does it mean to be a journalist?
A journalist bears witness and communicates for posterity.
What's the funniest news-related #hashtag you've seen?
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
I'm pretty easy to reach if you're persistent and have something that interests me- email or social is probably best though.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Salesforce, Pardot, G-Suite
What's your favorite social network?
I don't have one. I appreciate the necessity but resent the need to participate in 20 different amplification platforms / echo chambers.
Who do you wish followed you?
Nobody. or everybody...
Why did you become a journalist?
The ability to communicate- quickly and meaningfully- is perhaps the most powerful human capability.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I did not- my high school had basket weaving- no school paper.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I'm most proud about writing about artificial intelligence- simultaneously the fluffiest and most significant part of CRM and marketing.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Hustle.

The best pitch I ever got was to feature in Salesforce's State of Marketing Report. Dinner. Drinks. Amazing.

Riding Italian motorcycles out of NYC or across the world.

That tech is glamorous- it's often dog eat dog over scraps.
