If there's any one thing that's painfully apparent about the current state of affairs in WWE, it's that CM Punk is sorely missed on weekly television. The Second City Saint hasn't been seen since the post-WrestleMania 42 edition of Raw, where he was confronted by Cody Rhodes less than 24 hours removed from losing the World Heavyweight Championship to Roman Reigns.

WWE's summer season is officially getting underway, meaning the always-anticipated road to SummerSlam is also officially beginning. Seeds are already being planted on Raw and SmackDown for major matchups that could be in store for the star-studded card. It was evident at Clash in Italy that WWE isn't willing to shake things up significantly coming out of WrestleMania 42, but anything can change between now and August 1 and 2.

The Ladder match has been one of WWE's most celebrated stipulations for decades, dating back to the very first installment between Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels on a non-televised live event in 1992. It's since become a staple in WWE and has primarily been used in the apex of a program between two heated rivals. It's next to impossible for the matches to be anything less than exciting.

What was your first job as a journalist?

Technically Bleacher Report, but because I was an unpaid contributor at first, it was as a web editor for my college newspaper.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

I can't say I have, but I'd willing to give it a shot!

How is social media changing news?

Drastically, more so for the better than for the worse, especially with how quickly people get their news and how accurately it's reported.
