As was discussed earlier, Milton has weakened a little with winds now at 165 mph. Some slow weakening will likely continue with landfall Wednesday evening into Thursday morning as still a major CAT3 hurricane. Landfall will likely be near or just south of Tampa Bay.

Radar out of Corpus Christi shows little change in the structure or intensity of Beryl as of 4 p.m. with dry air continuing to disrupt the circulation. Air Force recon confirms little change in strength so far. Air Force measured winds to 65 mph. Motion is to the NNW at 12 mph. Landfall around 3 a.m. near Palacios in the Matagorda Bay area is expected tomorrow. After landfall, the remnants will be northeast of College Station at 7 p.m. Monday and near Texarkana at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
