Five Below has added two new members to its executive leadership team. Five Below has named two new members to its executive leadership team, appointing Rodney Lastinger as chief retail officer and Christos Yatrakis as chief legal officer. Lastinger will be responsible for leading the operational performance of the company’s growing network of nearly 2,000 stores and will join the retailer on June 22. Yatrakis, who joined the company on June 15, oversees its legal function.

Lidl's new Lidl Plus app will be available to shoppers on July 1. Lidl US will soon transition from its long-standing myLidl app to its Lidl Plus rewards app, which will go live on July 15. The myLidl app will go quiet on June 30, and the grocer is asking its shoppers to download the Lidl Plus app beginning July 1. The company is touting its new app as being designed to give customers more value each time they shop.

Ahold Delhaize USA has a new chief executive officer, as the grocer’s Supervisory Board has named Claire Peters to the position. She will join the company on Sept. 8. Her appointment as a member of the company’s Management Board is subject to shareholder approval at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders to be held later this year, as well as customary regulatory approval.
