photo credit: CalFire Aerial crews attacking the Ledson Fire.A lightly populated area north of Oakmont in Santa Rosa has been ordered to evacuate due to a vegetation fire. The Ledson fire broke out just after 1 p.m. and has grown to over 13 acres upslope. It's on hillside between Mount Hood and Buzzard Peak...and is currently threatening at least one building. Evacuation zone SON-3H3 has been ordered to evacuation, but there are not many homes or people in that area.

Nomination period for 3 Santa Rosa City Council seats opens Monday

Currently, Mark Stapp represents District 2, Victoria Fleming represents District 4 and Jeff Okrepkie represents District 6. Incumbent District 4 council member Victoria Fleming said she will not be running for another term.
