A Variable Structure Multiple-Model Estimation Algorithm Aided by Center Scaling
Abstract : The accuracy for target tracking using a conventional interacting multiple-model algorithm (IMM) is limited. In this paper, a new variable structure of interacting multiple-model (VSIMM) algorithm aided by center scaling (VSIMM-CS) is proposed to solve this problem. The novel VSIMM-CS has two main steps. Firstly, we estimate the approximate location of the true model.
Observation of Asymmetric Oxidation Catalysis with B20 Chiral Crystals**
Graphical Abstract The identification of the driving force for enantiomeric reactions is essential for the design of high-performance catalysts for asymmetric synthesis. With a pure B20 chiral crystal without any modification, enantiomeric oxidation was achieved at the surface. It is proposed that orbital angular momentum polarization will influence the adsorption of enantiomers and thus change their oxidation kinetics.
