Stress granules promote DNA damage repair through the G3BP1/NAT10/ATF3 axis to facilitate nasopharyngeal carcinoma progression
Abstract Aberrantly enhanced DNA damage repair contributes to therapy resistance and poor prognosis in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC), but its regulatory mechanisms remain unclear. Stress granules (SGs) mediate tumor stress adaptation, yet their role in NPC DNA damage repair is unknown. Here, we show that SGs are significantly enriched in NPC cells under stress, and the SG core protein G3BP1 is highly expressed in NPC tissues (n = 111), correlating with metastasis and poor survival.
ASH2L‐K312‐Lac Stimulates Angiogenesis in Tumors to Expedite the Malignant Progression of Hepatocellular Carcinoma
1 Introduction Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most prevalent malignant tumors, particularly in Asia and Africa.[1] According to the World Health Organization, approximately 841 000 new cases of HCC are reported annually worldwide.[2] The National Cancer Center of China has identified HCC as the fourth most common cancer type and the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in China, with approximately 400 000 new cases and 300 000 deaths annually.[3] Primary treatment...
DDX5 super-enhancer promotes vasculogenic mimicry formation and metastasis in nasopharyngeal carcinoma by enhancing ADAM10 transcription
Immunohistochemistry and PAS staining Mouse orthotopic xenografts were pretreated with a decalcifying solution, following which the tumor tissues from the patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma and mouse subcutaneous and orthotopic xenografts were fixed with 1% paraformaldehyde and embedded in paraffin. The tumor sections were dewaxed and rehydrated.
