Sam Adams to Release $200 Beer
Samuel Adams has released a beer that costs $199 and is illegal in 12 states. The beer is called the Utopias and has a 28% alcohol by volume. Since the ABV is so high, Sam Adams suggests for people to drink the beer in 1 oz servings. Sam Adams said some of the beer batches have been aged up to 24 years in a variety of barrels and tastes more like a Cognac than a beer. Only 13,000 bottles of the beer will go on sale early this month.
Island Chicken Breasts
I love trying out new rubs, sauces and marinades. This marinade is a little putzy, but all the fresh ingredients really gives the chicken a kick! Combine all ingredients (except the chicken) in a food processor and puree to form a paste. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable bag and add the marinade. Return to the refrigerator for 2-4 hours. Remove chicken breasts from the marinade and cook to 165°, approximately 5-7 minutes per side. Discard excess marinade.
Unsolved three year old Moorhead murder case "active", high priority
FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) - Three years ago Wednesday, NDSU student Tom Bearson disappeared after leaving a party a few blocks south of the campus. The body of the 18-year old from Sartell, Minnesota, was found three days later in the parking lot of an RV dealer in Moorhead's industrial park, 5 miles from where he was last seen. His death was ruled a homicide.

Man with blow torch sought in St. Cloud thefts
ST. CLOUD, MN (WJON) - St. Cloud police are looking for a suspect with a blow torch involved in break-ins and attempted thefts Friday morning at banks. Sgt. Jason Burke says officers responded to a property damage complaint at Bremer Bank just after 3:00 a.m.Someone was dropping off a deposit at the bank and noticed a broken window. Police say the suspect used a rock to break a window to get into the bank.

Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Smoked Turkey
It's a mouthful to say, and a savory mouthful to eat. Smoked turkey, stuffed with cheddar and jalapenos, wrapped in bacon and smoked to perfection! Take the tenderloins and flatten them slightly with a meat mallet. Then prepare the brine. Poultry has a tendency to dry out in the smoker, so a brine is always a good idea. I only needed about 4 cups total, so here is the brine I used. Mix together and pour into a resealable bag.
Alabama White Sauce
This week I tried a white sauce for chicken in the smoker. The sauce itself is really good, and because of it's creamy texture, it really helps the smoke flavor adhere to the meat. Mix the ingredients together, and set aside. Typically if you are going to do chicken in the smoker, you should use legs or thighs. The dark meat has higher fat content and will stay juicier than white meat. My girls don't like dark meat though, so I used the same recipe, but used boneless, skinless breasts instead.

I decided to play with one of my toys I don't use much this weekend and broke out the rotisserie attachment on my grill. These kits are universal and only cost about $30, so you should get one! Here's what you need: Start with a whole chicken. I get mine at Oneida Market . Rinse it well inside and out an pat dry with paper towel. Work the skin over the chicken breasts loose, but keep it intact. Mix the dry ingredients above into a small bowl. Work the butter up under the skin on the breasts.

Stuffed Pork Chops
Stuffed Pork Chops are easy and delicious. It's as easy as Season, Stuff, Smoke! Start with some nice thick cut pork chops. You can use either bone-in or boneless. I picked mine up at the Oneida Market , where the meat is locally sourced. These were nice 1" thick chops, so I butterflied them myself and prepped them for stuffing. I seasoned both the inside and outside of the meat. First, with a little yellow mustard, and then with a generous sprinkling of my go-to rub .

Need something to do with those ripe bananas? Try this recipe. Make sure your bananas are well mashed. Set aside. Melt butter and white chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second intervals. Once it's melted and smooth, stir in the sugar. Then add the bananas and mix well. Add egg, salt, and vanilla and mix well. Then, stir in the flour until just combined. Pour into an 8x8 pan that you've sprayed with cooking spray.
