Based in Karachi, Pakistan, I have been working as a fact-checker at Pakistan's only local International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN) signatory and Meta's third-party fact-checkers, SOCH Fact Check, since January 2022, investigating misinformation and disinformation.
I served as communications impact fellow at Salzburg Global Seminar in 2022 in Austria. Prior to this, I worked as a digital journalist for ARY News and Samaa Digital in Pakistan.
