What you need to know: Nurses want the news career guidelines effected and a number of their allowances revised upwards. Health services in some counties have already been interrupted after nurses and other health workers started their strike. More than 32,000 nurses have downed their tools immediately. Nurses, laboratory officers, public health officers, nutritionists, pharmaceutical officers and clinical officers are currently on strike across the country.
