Herbie Teope is a seasoned professional sports journalist specializing in coverage of the NFL.
Teope previously served as the lead beat reporter covering the Chiefs for The Kansas City Star.
He spent time in New Orleans, where he covered the NFL at a national level and the now-defunct AAF for NFL Media (NFL Network | NFL.com).
Teope covered the New Orleans Saints as a beat reporter for The Times-Picayune, which later rebranded as The Times-Picayune | The Advocate, before he joined NFL Media.
In previous years, he covered the Chiefs as a beat reporter for The Topeka Capital-Journal . He served as a Chiefs correspondent for The Associated Press and Pro Football Weekly, and contributor to KCSN.
