Why did you become a journalist?
There were many stories to tell especially as technology began to unfold. There were also practices and policy that need rethinking.

Yes! On the graphic design side. I also wrote about sporting events and reported on the athletes themselves
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Write about what you love and continue to hone your craft. Frequency helps. Reach out continuously and do not do this for the money.

Someone reached out to me on LinkedIn and asked me a provocative question about a trending topic. That got the conversation started
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
I don't write about new tech for promotion. I tell stories that need to be told about prevailing topics that need addressing.
