I am an avid reader of Brian Merchant’s Blood in the Machine and follow his posts on the rise of the AI Luddites. What was missing were the experiences and points of view from those who use AI technology daily—the overlooked center of AI adoption, whose perspectives have not been captured. That’s what I’ve attempted to do here. While my initial call-out was for people who fell anywhere within the spectrum between AI boosters and AI resisters, the majority were frequent users of the technology.
