@kerrymflynn Tho I hope in this new distribution method the creators keep their data close. If not, podcast creators should welcome themselves to the bottom of the barrel race for advertisers like pubs do.
@kerrymflynn FWIW, I’ve obvs known of podcast for years. But only really listened to them since Spotify intro’d them. ITunes is kind of crap, and Spotify is my hub for audio and the experience is better.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

I prefer email, and keeping the pitch shorter as well as relevant to what I write about. More often than not, I am willing to at least chat.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

I use Ommwriter to stay focused. Blogger is my preferred blogging platform, only because WordPress got tiring to maintain.

Why did you become a journalist?

I enjoy telling other peoples stories. There are a lot of smart people who need to be known, but aren't willing to yell as loudly as I am.
