What was your first job as a journalist?

As a high school freshman I joined the literary magazine; during my senior year I was editor-in-chief.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

Yes! I typed all of my college papers on an electric typewriter, making final edits of my hand-written drafts at the keyboard.

Why did you become a journalist?

I don't feel that I had a choice, writing is in my DNA.
