Ian Russell The University of St. Thomas has confirmed that the woman who was the victim of a deadly hit and run in Minneapolis this weekend was a student. The university says 22-year-old Seham Hassen was pursuing a bachelor's degree in public health. Hassen was set to graduate this May. According to St. Thomas, Hassen participated in the Public Health Club and the Muslim Student Association, and wanted to enter the medical field.
Iowa Lakes Community College baseball team plays first games after February bus crash
For the first time in more than a month, the Iowa Lakes Community College baseball team took the field. "The boys, they wanted to resume baseball because that was their connection," Penny Dennis, whose son plays on the team, said. While traveling to a game in Arkansas in February, the Lakers' team bus was involved in a rollover crash. 19-year-old Carter 'Tater' Johnson was killed in the collision. The remaining 32 people on board were hurt.
