I am a trainee journalist studying a level 5 diploma in the NCTJ and journalism.

I also host my own radio show on Unity 101 community radio. I host a wednesday drive time show 4-6pm, which includes music, chat, traffic, weather, news, sport and interviews.

I am a big sports fan and I am interested in sports journalism, especially the broadcast side of journalism.

A POPULAR family-run Indian takeaway has closed its doors after more than 40 years of serving the community. Saffron, based at 17 Wilton Road in Salisbury, took its final order on August 30, marking the end of 43 years of continuous trade from the same shopfront. The closure ends not just a business, but a way of life for the family who lived above and behind the shop and who became part of the fabric of Salisbury's culinary and cultural landscape.

Residents apply to make River Nadder a designated bathing water site

Residents of Lower Bemerton are applying to designate the River Nadder at Lower Bemerton Recreation Ground as a bathing water. If approved, the Environment Agency would monitor bathing water quality throughout the bathing season (May 15 to September 30). As well as monitoring water quality, the Environment Agency would also recommend measures to improve it and classify the site annually as either excellent, good, sufficient or poor.
