It means to be honest and unbiased.

I prefer it through emails or through phone calls, so I could get a gist of the pitch in detail.

Why did you become a journalist?
To inform people of what's happening around them.

Worked as a feature writer for the high school magazine

I had worked on a few interviews and interviewed a few celebrities like Shreyas Talpade, Anand Bhaskar and Vikas Khanna.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Be honest with your opinion and do not be bias.
