Drawing on our national infrastructure and construction capabilities, Gowling WLG is pleased to act as counsel to Bell Canada in connection with the development of its proposed 300 MW AI data centre in the Rural Municipality of Sherwood, near Regina, Saskatchewan. Announced on March 16, 2026, the project represents one of the largest digital infrastructure investments in Canada and forms a key part of Bell’s national strategy to expand sovereign AI and data capacity across the country.

Tensions between different generations have existed for literal millennia. Aristotle wrote, back in the 4th century B.C.E., So it’s clear that relationships have always been strained between the older and the younger members of society, but the way we talk about these things has changed since Aristotle’s time. Nowadays, instead of the conflict being “the Elders” vs “the Youths”, all we hear about is “Boomers” vs “Gen X” vs “Millennials” vs “Gen Z” and so on.
