Since its release, Apple Vision Pro has been in the spotlight for its new role in the media industry. Most notably, Jon M. Chu publicly shared that he used the product in the editing process for Wicked. Now, the product is getting new use for a brand new Disney theme park attraction. A new video posted to the Disney Parks YouTube channel shows audio designers from their Walt Disney Imagineering team using Apple Vision Pro to work on the sound mixing for Soarin’ Across America.

Meta to bring Liquid Glass to WhatsApp on iPad and Mac

WhatsApp users finally got broader access to the new Liquid Glass interface in the iOS app last month. Now it seems Meta is shifting its focus towards the iPad and Mac apps. A new report from WABetaInfo indicates the app’s team is currently developing the Liquid Glass design for the macOS app. It adds that the same app code is used across the iOS, iPadOS and macOS versions, so the work mainly consists of ensuring that the material is properly implemented.

Apple Card members offered $30 Uber Cash in new promotion

Apple is promoting a limited-time offer for Apple Card holders to get Uber Cash back when ordering with Uber Eats. The company sent an email to cardholders Monday announcing that Uber One subscribers can earn up to $30 worth of Uber Cash back when ordering from Uber Eats. The offer requires members to place one qualifying grocery or retail order per month to receive $10 of Uber Cash for that month, now through August 31.

What was your first job as a journalist?

My first job as a journalist was producing and hosting the local news on All Things Considered for WUFT-FM.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

I use Adobe Audition and Premiere Pro, AP ENPS, KLZ NewsRoom, Xpression, and Streamline, to name a few.

What's your favorite social network?

Twitter. It has always stayed true to itself and using it correctly is an art.
