LCSO makes arrest in southwest Leon County homicide

SOUTHWEST, Fla. (WTXL) — The Leon County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in a homicide from over weekend. On Saturday, detectives with the Leon County Sheriff's Office detectives began investigating a homicide in southwest Leon County. With evidence collected, detectives were able to arrest 29-year-old Luis Olla-Hernandez. Olla-Hernandez has been booked into the Leon County Detention Facility on a charge of First-Degree Murder.

Deputy involved in crash on Capital Circle Northwest

NORTHWEST TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) — A Leon County deputy was involved in a crash Saturday night. According to the sheriff’s office, the crash happened on Capital Circle Northwest near I-10 West around 8 p.m. A spokesperson for LCSO says the deputy along with the driver and passenger from another vehicle had minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation. The sheriff’s office says no fault has been determined at this time.

FHP: Pedestrian dies after being hit by Leon County deputy

TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) — A pedestrian is dead after being hit by a Leon County deputy. That’s according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Troopers say the crash happened Friday night around 10:22 at Pensacola Street and Ausley Road. FHP is still working to gather details on what led up to the crash.
