September is World Alzheimer’s Month, a time to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease, a condition that affects memory, thinking and reasoning. While there is no cure, recognizing the early signs can make a real difference for those affected and their families. According to the Alzheimer’s Association, in 2025, an estimated 7.2 million Americans aged 65 and older are living with Alzheimer’s dementia, and that number is projected to rise to nearly 13 million by 2050.
